The Perfect Day

Think about it, if you had the perfect day, what would you have done differently today?

Do you ever actually stop to think about what you really want in life?

You know taking time to reflect on what you want in life, and what you want to get out of it.

I’m referring to the type of life where you wake up filled with happiness and direction. The kind of life where you’re doing work that’s significant and exhilarating. The kind of life that is perfect for “you” in every way possible.

Well if you’re like most people, you never think about how to create the life you really want and neither do you even try to set up for yourself the perfect day. Because you’ve got to start somewhere, and if you can get a day right, well maybe then you can do it for a week, then a month, then a year. If you were able to design the perfect day, each and every day how much better would your life be than it is right now?

It is time to seize your day and start to build the life you’ve promised yourself for so long. As John Wanamaker said “One may walk over the highest mountain one step at a time”. Creating the perfect day, and then doing it again and again, will make the most of your personal power and produce the results you truly desire in your life.

So many people claim that they don’t have enough time to do the things that they really want to do in life because they are too busy just surviving. With their mind set fighting from day to day, would they even know what the perfect day would look like for them. I doubt it.

Their starting point is to ask themselves this question:

“What makes me feel good!”

Once you start finding the answers to this question, you can then incorporate these things into your “perfect day.” You will find it opens up all sorts of possibilities that you hadn’t given yourself time to consider before.

If you need to dig a bit deeper to uncover your perfect day, ask yourself these questions:

  • What would you spend your time doing?
  • Would you work and, if so, what would you do?
  • What hobbies would you like to engage in? What would you like to learn?
  • What kind of food would you like most to eat?
  • What would you like to be doing with your family and friends
  • Will you make time for relaxation? What will you be doing
  • Just go through your day and tell your story.

Once you create your perfect day you will start to see what you value most in my your, and what goals are truly important to you.

Simply close your eyes and imagine that if you could design your perfect day, what would you be doing? Go through your entire day, from the moment you wake up until you go to sleep at night, and write down what you’d be doing.

So get on with it …

Today you want to be experiencing …

Today you want to feel …

Today you want to do …

The truth is that you can design your perfect day by just focusing on it. It’s your life, after all, and if you don‘t think you deserve a fantastic perfect day, well you really better wake yourself up. You can pick and choose what you really want, and put the effort in to make it happen, but you got to want it enough. Don’t go through life ignoring the life you want to live simply by dismissing it as “unreasonable” or “impossible.”

Start seeing the things that really will fulfill you, and start to make room for some of them in your everyday life.

How do you see your perfect day?
