A friend of this blog, private messaged me yesterday and expressed a concern. He sees the tremendous growth of our site, and is worried about the direction we may be taking. So today, I want to assure you all that there is one thing that I bring in addition to my love for personal development and coaching others, and that is integrity.

It is true that our site is growing, and developing at a rate of knots. There are now many areas where we will be making money such as our Wellbeing Shops. But our intentions are no different now as when I first came to blogging, my first desire is to build a resource that will enable people to find information to help them grow.
I am only the person I am today because my Mother introduced me to Personal Development. My love is doing the same for others. As a young man I was always on a quest for self improvement and growth as a person. This desire has never left me, and is a central part of who I am.
I absolutely love empowering others through personal development. It definitely doesn’t get any better than this. And I would do nothing to lose my readers trust or their belief in me. My mission in life is to educate, empower, and inspire others so that they, too, can live the life of their dreams. This is something I am truly passionate about in life and I would not blow it for the sake of making a bit more money, particularly when you can make the most by being transparent, honest, and provide the best that you can!

Providing 1-2-1 life coaching, webinars and resources that will help others create location independent lifestyle freedom. The freedom to do what you want, when and where you want. I know my integrity will still be intact, although people may question my business sense of delivering this so cheaply. But when you get paid to do something you love, believe me there is nothing better.
I love to educate and empower others, to help them grow as people, and to create the lives of their dreams. My goal is to help as many succeed by teaching them the wonders of personal development and provide the tools, strategies and techniques that will make the difference to their lives.

In this economic climate a business mustn’t compromise its integrity if it wants to be able to compete. Remember, people do business with people they know, like, and trust. When you demonstrate integrity you show trustworthiness. When you don’t – well you know what people will think.
If you are an online business owner make sure you put your best foot forward and show you are “different from the others”. Let your integrity set you apart from the rest.
To me having integrity as a blogger and business owner means I must stick to my ethics and morals and safeguard them no matter what.

I was a little confused by your message. Are you suggesting your friend questioned your integrity because you want to make money? I would question the integrity of someone who wants to work for free, unless they’re independently wealthy.

Most of the bloggers that I have ever talked to have looked at making money on their blog in one way or another. Of course, most ways don’t seem to put you in a position to quite your day job 🙂 There is nothing wrong with having an online business. And, there is nothing wrong with having a business through your site. Nowadays, times are tough and if you can provide a market that is needed by people, then I say go for it!!
