Frustrated With How Your Life Is

Are you totally frustrated with how your life is right now? Does it feel like life is just passing you by? There is no meaning to your day, worse still, no meaning to your life. You’re just surviving not living.

Day after day you follow the same old routines. Struggle out of bed, rush through a quick unhealthy breakfast, spend most of your day doing a job that brings no satisfaction or enjoyment, wasting far too much time drinking unhealthy amounts of coffee and checking your social media updates every five minutes. For too long now you’ve accepted a role in life where you merely exist.

You know this isn’t the way to live. You are spending more time now wondering how to make life better than it is right now. You will be at a place now where you are beginning to realise that the purpose of life’s challenges is to help you grow and force you to find what it is that is missing in your life. You can’t allow yourself to be frustrated with how your life is for ever more.

If you have not yet uncovered your life purpose, pursuing activities and targets that you find personally motivating, driving you forward, making each day just fly by, ending with a feeling of contentment, it’s about time you did.

Please don’t discount this. Yes I’m sure you’ve read about finding your life’s purpose many times before. You’ve thought quaint concept, but unrealistic in real life. Well it’s not. There is just something so simple that you need to do, you may as well give it a go. Spend some quiet time where you just think about what is most important to you, what matters, what you want to spend your time doing.

We owe it to ourselves to find what really matters to us.

Yes, I’m telling you to refuse any longer to accept just a mediocre life, where surviving is your priority. Living like this will leave you dissatisfied. The frustrations will continue to grow. You’ll begin to believe your life hasn’t mattered. Don’t let this be the way it is for you.

Nobody can go back and start a new beginning, but anyone can start today and make a new ending. Maria Robinson

You need to get on track now to ensure you make the most of your time on earth.

Take 5 maybe 10 minutes to do a very simple exercise that has the potential to move your life forward, in the right direction.

Let’s make a start right now in finding your purpose.

Grab a pen and a piece of paper.

Imagine your life in five years’ time.

You’ve won the lottery so money is not an issue.

Describe what your life looks like.

Think about…

Where you live.

Who you are with.

How you spend your days

What your perfect day looks like

So please right now get your eyes closed and imagine how this life would feel if you were living it.

The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams. Eleanor Roosevelt

Once you’ve done this, written it all down, and really enjoyed the image, you now will be able to find your purpose far easier. Your perfect life, as a lottery winner will give you clues. You should be able to see what is really important to you and what you want to be doing with your life.

Working out what you want to do with your life really does make sense to you, doesn’t it? You have the power within you to change your life, you just have to stop wasting it away and get started. It’s time that you move your life forward no longer being frustrated with how your life is.

Yesterday is gone. Tomorrow has not yet come. We have only today. Let us begin. Mother Teresa
