Designing Your Ideal Life

Designing your ideal life is about turning your hopes, dreams and aspirations into reality. It provides you with focus and clarity, enabling you to plan your life giving yourself the best chance of achieving success.

Do you have a vision for the dream life you want to be living? Have you planned to bring it about, to turn it into reality?

Nothing will happen unless you determine a strategy to bring a dream into reality. You’ll just think about it but never do anything about it. It will stay a dream. You’ll always find a reason for not making it happen instead of finding the way to make sure you turn it into a 100% reality. Without a concrete plan, you may make a start, but you’ll never see it through, somewhere along the lines you’ll get lost not knowing where to go next. It’s times that you began work designing your ideal life.

You need to:

  • Decide what you want
  • Create the daily actions that will move you closer to your goals
  • Be open to new opportunities that arise
  • Ask yourself one question every day, “What can I do today to make my life happier and more successful?”

Every one of us has unlimited possibilities in our lives, we were not meant to be struggling through life just getting by. Why then are so many living a life of lack, limitation, struggle and stress, full of fear?

Each of us has amazing powers within just waiting for us to tap them. Start by asking some important questions. Our lives can be as successful as the questions we ask. Our lives are determined by our questions – and so many people have stopped asking questions. Ask a bigger question and release a different choice for your life.

Take the time to consciously and mindfully create each aspect of your day. Nearly all people live their entire lives without a design, without a journey plan, which means of course they live their life without a map. It’s almost like they’re walking around in the dark, is it any surprise then that they can’t find their way to the point they want to get to. Designing your ideal life isn’t complicated and yet so few people even bother to try.

Let’s start doing something to change this. First, start to create a life vision by creating a goal list. What would you change about your life? Take the time to figure out what you what, what is important to you, and your life will focus around it. Look at this Life Vision as your declaration of intent, and include within it goals to cover the key areas of your life.

  • Relationships
  • Health and Physical
  • Professional and Financial
  • Personal Development

The perfect Life Vision will balance across all areas of your life. The perfect way to design your ideal life vision is to do the following. Take a few moments and start to actually visualise your dream life into your future. Picture yourself in five years’ time and describe what you are experiencing. Verbalise what you see, are hearing and feeling. You must be as precise as possible and picture it as exact as you can. Describe your dream life just as you want it to be; the more details you include, the more powerful it will be. Having a truly exciting vision and understanding of your goals will create an emotional impact, which will ignite the fire in your belly and allow you to creatively plan and realise your dream life.

The more clear you are about what you want and where you want to be the better choices and plans you will make about how you spend your time and what you focus on helping you get there.

You’ve visualised your dream life, you know where you want to be but how are you going to get there? Once you have done this you can take the time to plan for success in all areas of your life then you can bring your focus and attention to planning how to bring about the achievement of your goals.

Make the change, no more sulking, waiting, thinking, reading, talking – it’s time, you’re ready. Go do it!

Don’t just say you’re going to write that book, DO IT! If it’s truly important to you, is part of your life plan, nothing will stop you from getting it done, and I mean nothing.

Dig deep into your conscious and take your ideas, passions, expertise, life experiences and turn them into a breath taking book that will help others learn from your life story. Hold nothing back, think about the life’s you will change by sharing your journey through this your book, the miracle that you put together. The effort, the hardship, the struggle it will all be worth it.

As you only get one life, it’s important to make the most of it without fear of failure. Try not to waste your life on the things you don’t want, or things you don’t need to do. Try not to let yourself be held back by the barriers that we create for ourselves.
