As a personal development coach, founder of this healthy lifestyles living blog, and the father of two very precious daughters my life is about inspiring and encouraging others to grow up and achieve something. I always knew anything is possible when we put our minds to it but to actually follow my dreams in 2011 has been awesome! I am so excited to continue my journey in 2012.
One thing that I would teach everyone is that if there is something you truly believe in and want to accomplish you will have to put your heart and soul in to it. But when you do then the world is your oyster. When you seek the right path to pursue your accomplishment, anything is possible.
In the last month I have not had as much time to spend with family or friends as I would have liked while I’ve pursued my dream of creating an online community where I can use my personal development, life coaching and healthy lifestyle knowledge and training to help others and make the difference in a big way. Only time will tell if I have succeeded but I have certainly already gone a long way in a short time.
“Mighty things from small beginnings grow.” John Dryden, English poet
This post was inspired by a comment I received yesterday by Rimly another blogger who said ‘Your blog has grown before my very own eyes Larry. You are truly an inspiration to all of us!’ And that did make me stop and contemplate for a little while. The difference between this blog now and a week ago is massive, but when I look back to its origins some 20 months ago it is just incomparable. Back then I was a life coach and gym owner trying my hand at something called blogging, and now I’m a pro blogger doing the thing I love writing about subjects I have a passion for. Even I find it difficult to believe my blog has come so far in such a short amount of time.
Blogging for me has been totally a positive experience… …it has allowed me a creative outlet to express myself, to learn and grow & show others as well as myself who I truly am. Everything I write is from my heart and what I truly believe. In the early days my voice wasn’t completely genuine and it took a very special lady Savira, a wonderful human being and blogger to push me till I released my true self.
There have been bad days. When viruses have taken my blog down. The times when traffic equalled one man and his dog. I feel really good knowing that I actually hung in there and have created something that makes a genuine contribution to the world. I love all the positive and supportive feedback I receive and am honoured for having the opportunity to lend my support to others. I love giving back, sharing and spreading the love (I’m sure that’s a term created by bloggers). I’ve thoroughly enjoyed watching others grow along side me.
Back in the beginning I never expected to get to this stage. I wouldn’t have dreamed of being a pro blogger, owning an online ecommerce shop that brings in a really good income, or having people ask me whether they could advertise on my blog, or if I’d try their products and write a review. I certainly didn’t think I’d be able to create a community where I could provide coaching and teaching all online. I didn’t know it was possible. Now I know anything is possible.
Because with an idea, a passion, determination, and the right tools (oh, and let’s not forget Neil) … you can do great things. Anything and everything is possible
“Trade your limitations for inspirations. And fulfill the best that is within you”. Ralph Marston
I now look at my blog and see it as an example of where ‘a small acorn grows into a mighty oak tree’. In business and in life we have to start our journey; that journey starts with our first step in the direction of our goals. Our first step may be small, but that step is the start of our journey. Over time our small steps becomes a large stride and turn into a mighty sprint. Some 20 months after taking my first tentative steps into the blogging world, I now own a successful online business that is growing rapidly day by day. I wouldn’t have dared dreamed it, but hey, anything’s possible.
A mighty oak tree takes time to grow, the same for success you have to plant the seeds of success and give them time to grow.
Looking at where I began and where I am today is not by luck or chance. I had specific goals for my life and was determined to attain them one by one.
It’s not the amount of time you put into building your business, it’s your belief in yourself, the passion you hold for the things you are doing. The more momentum you create for yourself the more opportunities you will find rise up for you. I have been blessed by being able to leverage technology to create something that when completed will be unbelievable. I could never have foreseen this, and in truth I could never have planned for this.
“They say anythings possible, you gotta dream like you never seen obstacles” – J Cole
For me, the desire to make a difference, doing something so worthwhile, gave me the fuel, the motivation to take action and it seems things just fell into place for me. So let something that’s your inspiration, your dream power up your life. Believe in the incredible power that lies within you.
I believe anything is possible if you believe in yourself, and work hard enough to achieve your dreams. You just have to have faith in what you can achieve, don’t be afraid to ask for help and advice from others to help you achieve it, and never give up, no matter how many times, you get knock down or take a wrong turn.
“You can be anything you want to be, if only you believe with sufficient conviction and act in accordance with your faith; for whatever the mind can conceive and believe, it can achieve.” Napoleon Hill
You will finally be on the road to success when you truly believe that all the necessary attributes, knowledge, and abilities to accomplish anything already lie within you. Let me please leave you with one thing to ponder, when you believe in yourself anything is possible.
When you start to believe, you will start to receive.
Henry Ford’s famous quote: “If you think you can or if you think you can not, you are right.”
Always remember that anything is possible – just believe in yourself!

I am also on my way to success but to be honest, it hasn´t always been so easy.I believe we also have to blog about some of the obstacles we have had to overcome to picture the path even if we want to point out the main strategy to success for others, of course.
Thats what i love about you Mattias you say it as it is. You don’t soft soap everything, make it all look like a bed of roses. Youre genuine and deserve success.
Amazing Larry, your vision and confidence in the topic injects a new found confidence in me. I would like to commend you on writing about asking for help. Many people see this as a sign of weakness, however if there is no agenda behind it.. It is often beneficial for both parties. This can allow both parties to grow towards their goals. Nobody has all of the answers. So asking for help from a trusted source creates a mastermind situation through which the answers are channelled to the parties involved.
Loddy you are so right. I know you are a believer, as me, in the law of attraction, and therefore understand the connection we all have. My true desire for this site, is to not just be a blog, but a community where personal development and growth are created and manifested. My ego may be huge, but i know others, like you, will add so much, inspiring, motivating and TEACHING. My background taught me there is no ‘i’ in ‘team’. And together is far more powerful than alone.
Looking good sir! you are an inspiration your passion and the way you help others is legendary.
Baldy, legendary, moi, maybe on my gym floor. After all who wouldn’t think i was when they know at any time i could say ‘right, time i gave you some 1-2-1 training … get down and give me 50 press ups’. But thank you mate, i am starting to really love the look and functionality of this new template.
Thank you, Great read on a Sunday, ready for a new week!
Andy be careful i may start to see this blog as my way of replacing the gap caused by the demise of the News of the World.
