A Life Lesson: How I Made ​My Biggest Mistake in the Year 2014

Did you set goals in this year just gone?

I know goals and having a plan of action to achieve them changes everything for the better. I also know if you leave your future to fete, you’ll get nowhere.

Let me show you how these two approaches result in completely different outcomes.

December 2014 found me on Christmas Day alone at home recovering from a major operation on my eye from which I had lost total vision.

I was on a complete downer and for the first time for a long time I set no goals, created no plan and allowed my life to meander on the path to nowhere. What followed was the worst year of my life, achieving nothing, and facing problem after problem which I failed to deal with. Life went on a fast downward spiral.

It took until New Years Eve 2015 for me to remember the importance of goal setting and making a plan. I sat down and over the next 5 hours created the goals and plan that would totally transform my life and lead me to the happy place I am right now.

From being poor, homeless, single and unemployed I am now very comfortably off, living in my lovely home, with my beautiful and caring partner, loving my role as an area manager for a merchant services business as well as running my phenomenally successful Life Coaching Business.

I proved to myself that Goal setting can be like rocket fuel which propels us into a new orbit.
