One of the amazing things about life is that every day we get a fresh start. Every day we get the opportunity to learn a new lesson, deepen our connection to life, and just be you.
One of the readers of my blog sent me a message telling me how much she loved reading my posts when they related to my life. In these posts she could feel my emotion and the message that I wished to put over was always done with such power and passion.
It reminded me that finding my authentic voice was essential for me to inspire others to take action.
genuine; real; not false or copied
the right to present and receive consideration of one’s desires or opinions
the sound or sounds uttered through the mouth of living creatures
a range of such sounds distinctive to one person
So in whatever you do in life, when you communicate with others ensure you are using your voice. That it’s 100% authentic, all you, said with feeling.
As a blogger, speaker, writer, teacher it is absolutely crucial to find your voice.
Do you realize how important it is to be yourself, in each and everything we do.
I am a teacher at heart, and to me good teaching comes from the identity and integrity of the teacher where they connect with their subject and their personalities infuse their work. As my reader said, I’m at my very best when I’m just me writing about something I feel a passion for that concerns me or someone close in my life.
When we write or talk with our authentic voice it’s beautiful, it’s unique, it’s the voice where we can inspire and motivate others. At the centre of my best work is writing on a subject that moves me, touches me, something that has changed my life.
If you don’t care about the things you’re writing about, or talking about you can’t be using your authentic voice. I know how elated I feel after I write a post which I think wow that hit the mark. The shame is I can’t do it every time. But I’ll keep trying.
Whenever you communicate with someone you must always use your unique perspective on life, bringing together all your beliefs, fears, hopes and dreams, the lessons you’ve learnt in life, your triumphs and failures.
I write with joy when I share my passions. What would you want to share with others?
