Fear | Doubt | Indecision

Fear | Doubt | Indecision

Your “subtle enemies” of indecision, doubt, and fear sometimes remain hidden in your subconscious mind.

Here they are difficult to locate, and still more difficult to eliminate.

You have to identify them at their root, remove them, and replace these enemies with your friends-

  • will power
  • definite major purpose
  • decision
  • burning desire
  • mind control

Mind control is the result of self-discipline and habit.

You either control your mind or it controls you.

There is no halfway compromise.

The best way to keep this at the forefront of your mind is to remain busy and work hard towards achieving your goals.

This will stop procrastination and not allow you to wander off.

If you begin to procrastinate then you open the floodgates for fear, doubt and indecision to take control. This situation can result in a mini melt down. One that stirs up confusion so you no longer know where to turn.

Have you experienced anything like this?

If you have you will appreciate the feeling of helplessness. The spiraling out of control and the lack of self care. It becomes like you are punishing yourself and you want to attract all of the negativity to you so it sends you further down the rat hole.

You are lucky if you have trusted people around you who can halter the downward slide.  It takes somebody who is perceptive to realize what you are doing.

You may be prepared to throw everything away without realizing the consequence of your decision. It is hard to be objective when you are losing control and don’t really care about how far you fall.

Stop take stock of your situation.

Take some time out to clear your head.

Talk to a trusted person who can help you through this.

Taking control of your mind is crucial.

If you have allowed indecision, fear and doubt to take over your mind then the only way you can begin to reclaim your thoughts is to identify where the fear , indecision and self doubt are originating from.

This may be hard to do on your own, seek out a life coach or a trusted friend who will be honest with you. You need a helping hand to point you in the right direction again.

It is easy to flounder and think you are headed in the right direction.

In reality when it’s all said and done you can still be very vulnerable to the pressures that are thrown out at you. You can be meandering along nicely thinking you have mastered your mind when suddenly out of the blue you realize that the work is ongoing.

It is ongoing because you are faced with many different challenges and you are often asked to step outside your comfort zone. This is when the litmus test will be applied.

Will your subconscious mind bring up the past?

It probably will and you better be ready for it. You will need somebody to cut through the fog and show you the light again. This makes the choosing of your friends and business partners even more crucial than it ever was.

Life coach.

I am in the fortunate position to have Larry Lewis a Life Coach as my business partner. He saw it all brewing and building up.

The shift in focus, the constant complaining, the desire to throw in the towel. All the symptoms were there to be terminated from this partnership.

In fact I even drove him to do it.

Why? Because I wanted somebody else to make the decision for me.

The fact that I am here writing about this indicates that Larry didn’t fall for it. Instead he began digging to find out what was going on. Had I really decided to move on and continue teaching or was there something else at play here?

Was the subconscious mind staging a lust hurrah to make me wilt at the knees.

It certainly would of won if not for the vision and experience of somebody like Larry Lewis who has been down this road before.

The personal development journey is a life journey.

It is a life journey because your mindset can alter depending on the continual work you need  to remain focused on achieving your goals.

There is so much to learn. Can you do it in one life time?

So do yourself a favour and begin discovering who you really are.

Stick at it because there will always be new discoveries to be made.

Begin by taking control of your mind and removing fear, indecision and doubt.
