My Personal Development Blog

Hi! My name is Larry Lewis, and welcome to my personal development blog. The purpose for this blog is to help you find, share, and discover ways to help improve the quality of your life; and to help take your personal growth to a whole new level. This is just one of the vehicles I use to do that, with the others being speaking, coaching, consulting and my ‘all the missing pieces’ online course.

Growing up, we’re taught that there’s work, something that we have do to ensure financial security, and then completely separate to that there’s fun: our passions, hobbies, dreams and pastimes. Often we’re told to forget our passions because they can achieve nothing for us.

Yet when you look at the world’s most successful people they are usually highly passionate about their work. They prove that you don’t need to find a compromise between profit and passion. They know that the best way to motivate yourself is to make the work you do something you love. When you do, you’re enormously more motivated to put in those crazy hours that at times you just have to do.

I completely believe in this concept of following your passions. Follow your heart, hone your skills and put your best efforts in. If you’re doing what you love, you’ll have the drive to just keep going, till you reach the top.

This isn’t just about making money either. The whole world benefits when you’re doing your greatest work, and your greatest work will always be that which you love the most. And the great thing is, by doing this, you will be able to profit financially as well as knowing you are doing a great service to the world. Never be ashamed of being proud of yourself for what you do, or what you achieve.

When I discovered blogging, I recognised it as an ideal vehicle for me. When I decided to enter the blogging world it was so that I could build upon what I was already doing to help people live more satisfying, healthy, and productive lives.

I’ve been an avid personal development reader since the age of 17. The process of writing articles for my personal development blog gave me the opportunity to explore deeper and discover even more knowledge, then share it with people that needed the knowledge and the passion I bring it to them with.

Personal Development is a learning process. Once you get into it you will not want to forego it , you’ll be thrilled by the changes it brings about in your life. The purpose of this blog is to share my feelings and thoughts on the subject and to help my readers grow personally and rediscover ways to live consciously.

We all know that life has its ups and downs, but have no doubts there are many things you can do to improve your life as well as fulfilling your dreams. This may never be simple, or quick to achieve, but it’s possible. Adopting the teachings of personal development can help you, have no doubts, turn your life into the success you so desire. That is what I hope I am contributing to you through this daily blog of mine. You just have to believe every things possible, and use the knowledge I’m providing.

I can honestly say that I truly enjoy blogging, and I never thought I would become a blogger…but once I started slowly but surely the bug took me over. I now love blogging and bring my passions for personal development to you my readers. It’s fun to inspire my readers and I have no doubts that I will continue blogging and hopefully inspiring many more people on the way for a very long time to come!

By writing I extend my own understanding and speed up my own journey of personal growth. It allows me to be individual, original, to be myself, committed to excellence and do it in my own way. Blogging is also a form of relaxation for me. How awesome is that, to be doing something I love, that I enjoy, and results in me making a really nice living.

It’s always rewarding to hear from someone who was touched by one of my articles. It’s pleasing to hear how someone was able to apply an idea from an article to the unique circumstances of their life in a way that has moved them forward. I love to hear how something made a positive difference in someone’s life.

My vision for Healthy Lifestyles Living is an ever-growing site contributing inspiration to those attracted to ideas of personal development. As my readers continue to grow in number, this provides me with an outlet for making the difference, allowing me to contribute to the world.

Thanks for your great post Larry. I actually think that to be successful in business you need to be continually learning not just marketing but also personal development is so important. Without this you simply can’t grow.

Personal development is so important the more you grow the more you succeed.

  7. Wonderful post Larry. I follow your advice and love my work, that’s writing and get up at 5 a m to jot down ideas and sleep only after I have exhausted myself pouring out all my thoughts on paper. I had read somewhere that if you want to succeed, give up on your sleep. I have my Me-time to rejuvenate my mind and soul and am enjoying my dream job, writing and sharing.
