Make Your Later Years Your Best Years

I’m sure we have all heard the claim that once we reach 50 it is too late to live our dreams. The truth is that no matter how old one is, it is never too late to live our dreams.

I believe what is one of the greatest tragedies in many people’s lives is they don’t take the time to get back in touch with that dream that lives in their heart. The one they had when they were young.

Are you ready to take stock of your life?

Then will you be prepared to work towards the life that you truly want to create built around your passions, strengths, values, desires, and motivations?

Let me assure you that it is never too late to live your dreams.

Are you an old relic or someone whose reinventing yourself after 50?

If there’s a single word that describes the difference in my life since I turned 50, it’s “transformation.” It seems I’m constantly making adjustments of one sort or another and faster than I ever did when I was younger.

I have refused to go quietly into middle age. To me a midlife crisis is simply our call to action, to channel our desires, the dissatisfaction we fee into a powerful life transformation. I’m changing my life and age won’t get in my way.

I followed my dreams!

The Internet has opened up a completely new world of opportunity for me and has made it possible to build a profitable business online. And I can assure you I’m not a technical wiz kid.

I’m just an example of what the amazing power of the internet can do for people, and how you can earn an income online based around your passions and interests.

When you have a strong enough desire, anything is possible.

The old adage “You can’t teach an old dog new tricks” is no longer applicable in this world we live in. you can do anything your heart desires.

So know it’s possible to create the life you want and live your life to its fullest.

If you want to create the life you want, you must change what you have been doing because what you have been doing has created your existing lifestyle.

Never in history has there been a better time to try something different and create the life you want.

So find the time to take stock, make changes and pursue your passions. Here is what to do.

Step One: Evaluate
Lots of people settle for jobs that pay the bills but leave them feeling empty. If you want to break out of this trap and find another kind of life, you need to evaluate where you’d like to go.

Step Two: Passion
Examine where your passions lie. On a scale of 1-10, what area or subject hits the big 10 for you. Get in touch with your passions and bring excitement back into your life.

Step Three: Passion Meets Business
What market brings a perfect alignment between your interests and livelihood. In other words where can you build a business around your passions.

Step Four: Envision Your Future
Sit down and write a short biography that describes who you are five years from now. Describe exactly the life you wish to lead, doing work that you love. You will know you’re done with the exercise when your heart races with excitement.

Step Five: Assess Your Risk
Is making this change the right thing for you to do. What’s the worst that can happen?

Step Six: Go for it!

Many of us let our age define our lives. But by grabbing life by the horns you can achieve the things you always wanted to. Why let age get in the way of chasing your dreams?

So make your later years your best years.
