I have just come out of a meeting with my business partner Neil. We had a lot to go through, plans to make, problems to solve, and successes to share. No one could say that we don’t take our business seriously. Neither could they say that we don’t know exactly where we want it to take us.

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.

We are working for many reasons. We have very clear objectives. One of them is to create the perfect lifestyle, where we can carry on running our business while enjoying an independent location lifestyle based on the island of Majorca.

Everything we have done, and all we have planned is based around this objective. The opportunity is getting closer by the day. We do realise how fortunate we are doing jobs that we both love that will enable us to live the lifestyle many can only dream of.

But the truth is we both took a chance. We both walked away from the security of 9 to 5 salaried work. But the risk was worth it to deliver our big dreams. Would you take a chance for the sake of achieving a dream?

Whatever your career looks like right now there is a career path that will tap into the core of who you are, lighting you up, inspiring you, and filling you with energy and a lust for life. This career will no doubts be following your passion. For me its blogging about personal development, and coaching people. For Neil its building amazing websites and getting them found.

Your path to success starts the minute you take the first step toward creating a career that makes you feel alive. And when you connect to the right thing you never want to stop. Neil turned around to me tonight and said, ‘you know when we’re in Majorca I still want to carry on doing this’. I said the only way I won’t be doing this is because I’ve been carried off in a box.

You can discover and define a career built around your passion then you have to make a commitment to yourself to follow it, to see it through to the end, and I assure you that you’ll have a lot of fun.

In a nutshell we are creating our ideal life. We have created a business which will enable us to live the life we’ve always dreamed of.

The first step in designing the perfect lifestyle is to discover your passions and determining how you can make a living doing what you love. Our way was to blog our way to build an online business.

Now I teach others how they can get everything they want in life without having to spend years of frustration doing a mundane job that they hate. Instead I show them how to follow their passions, enjoying every day, and doing what excites them.
